Celebrations of the Word
Ep32: The Month of Our Lady
Sr Therese loves Our Lady and wants to help you to love her too. It is the perfect time to focus our hearts on Our Lady, because May is the Month of Mary in the Church. We hear in the Gospel how Jesus invites us to make Mary our mother. Sister then helps us to reflect upon how we can grow closer to Our Lady and her son Jesus. We ask for Our Lady's help in prayer and then sing one of our favourite hymns 'As I Kneel Before You (Ave Maria)'
Ep31: Who is carlo Acutis?
Carlo Acutis is soon to be made a saint of the Catholic Church, but who is he and how can he inspire us? We share the Gospel for the second Sunday of Easter and reflect on how Carlo had wonderful faith in Jesus, even though he had not seen him. We learn about Carlo's devotion to the Eucharist, pray together and sing the hymn 'I Could Sing of Your Love Forever.'
Ep30: Easter - Jesus Breaks the Chains
In our Easter Sunday celebration we want to welcome you into the joy of knowing that Jesus has risen from the dead. We share Luke's account of Easter morning when Jesus's friends journey to his tomb and find the stone rolled away. However, Greg then reflects on something that not a lot of people think or know about: where Jesus went between the cross and his resurrection. It is a glorious moment that completes Jesus's mission to conquer death. After meeting the Risen Jesus in prayer, we join Angel to sing the Easter hymn King of Kings.
