LITTLE LITURGIES
Our Little Liturgies are a beautiful way for younger children to take their first steps into friendship with Jesus
We passionately believe that a child’s first few years at school are critically important in their faith formation. The Little Liturgies introduce children to the person of Jesus and help them enjoy their relationship with him. Every week we share the Gospel and then use questions of wonder and beautifully rich symbols to help children to enter into prayer. We always conclude in song, showing Jesus how much we love him as we sing.
Little Liturgies
Ep26: jesus heals the blind man
There is a difference between seeing with your eyes and seeing with your heart. In this Little Liturgy, we hear how Jesus healed a blind man. Greg helps us understand that to know who Jesus is, we need to see with the our hearts and believe in him. The video then moves into a time of prayer and then sing the hymn ‘I Could Sing of Your Love Forever.’
Ep25: the woman at the well
Jesus is always ready to be your friend. In this Lent Little Liturgy, Jesus meets a lonely woman by a well and changes the way she feels about herself. We Jesus will never leave you lonely. We thank him for this in prayer and then sing with Angel.
Ep24: Heaven Touches Earth
Jesus takes his three friends up a high mountain. At the top, his face and his clothes shine like the sun. In this Little Liturgy we look at Jesus shining in our hearts. St Peter loved being on the mountain with Jesus, he felt love, happiness and peace. Together, as we meet Jesus, we can feel just like St Peter. After praying together, we sing the hymn Be Still with Sr Chiara CFR.
Ep23: What Is Lent?
In the Gospel, Jesus is led by the Holy Spirit into a wild place called the wilderness. There he faces three temptations. Jesus is so strong in his love and he beats the temptations! This Gospel helps us to begin the season of Lent and to learn about the three pillars of the season: prayer, fasting and giving. We move into a time of prayer and then sing “Sign Your Cross” with Sr Chiara.
