LITTLE LITURGIES
Our Little Liturgies are a beautiful way for younger children to take their first steps into friendship with Jesus
We passionately believe that a child’s first few years at school are critically important in their faith formation. The Little Liturgies introduce children to the person of Jesus and help them enjoy their relationship with him. Every week we share the Gospel and then use questions of wonder and beautifully rich symbols to help children to enter into prayer. We always conclude in song, showing Jesus how much we love him as we sing.

Ep40: he watches with love
Jesus wants us to know just how much God the Father loves us. In the Gospel, he points to some small birds called sparrows and tells his friends that although God values every living creature, each of us are worth a lot more! In our prayer time, we draw close to God, inviting him to look at us with love. We then come together to sing and this week it's the action song 'Shine, Jesus Shine.'
Ep39: Sacred Heart Of Jesus
In this Little Liturgy, we draw close to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and wonder at the depth of his love for every person. Listening to the Sunday Gospel, we hear how Jesus is filled with compassion for the crowds and chooses twelve apostles to help him care for God's people. As we pray, we rest in the love of Jesus, listen for his voice, and consider how he might be inviting us to share his love with the world around us.
Ep38: Jesus The Living Bread
We are celebrating Corpus Christi. In the Gospel, we meet Jesus as he shares a beautiful teaching with his friends. He says ‘I am the living bread.’ His friends are quite confused, but at the Last Supper, more becomes clear. Jesus gives us his Body and Blood in the bread and wine at Holy Mass. We pray about this wonderful mystery and then sing the hymn ‘This is My Body.’
Ep37: What Is The Holy Trinity?
Our God is three in one. We call this mystery the Holy Trinity. This Little Liturgy marks the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Together, we listen to the voice of Jesus in the Gospel. Then, we think about how the love of the Holy Trinity is 'a love that gives.' We then move into a time of prayer, drawing close to the Holy Trinity. We conclude with the hymn 'Goodness of God' sung beautifully by Angel.
