In this Little Liturgy, we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord. We hear in the Gospel how Jesus returned to heaven and made a beautiful promise to his disciples: “I am with you always.” He makes the same promise to us. Whatever happens, he will always be by our side. In the days ahead, we can also copy what Jesus' friends did after the Ascension and pray for the Holy Spirit to come at Pentecost.
