We are still in the season of Easter and celebrating the good news that Jesus is alive! In this liturgy, we meet the risen Jesus in the Gospel as He joins two of His friends as they walk to the village of Emmaus. His friends do not recognise Him at first but their hearts burn within their chests. Brother Samuel gives a brilliant reflection all about this burning love of Jesus. We spend time in Jesus’s presence and then worship Him as we sing ‘Christ is Risen’ with Fr Columba.
