St John the Baptist was sent as a messenger to help people be ready to meet Jesus. In the wilderness he cried 'Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.' John is the forerunner of Jesus and shouts to us down the centuries. He encourages us to prepare this Advent and be ready for when Jesus comes again. Greg reflects on John's message and his humility. We then pray that we can make a straight path for Jesus to enter our hearts. We end by singing the ancient Advent hymn 'O Come O Come Emmanuel' with Sr Chiara.
