Holy Week is the most sacred time of the year. Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday and in Matthew’s Gospel, we hear how Jesus triumphantly enters the Holy City. People lay cloaks on the road and wave palm branches to welcome him. We too can welcome Jesus, we can invite him into our hearts at the start of Holy Week and promise to walk by his side during these sacred days. We make that our prayer today and then sing the hymn ‘Sing Hosanna!’
