If Jesus returned to earth in glory, would you be ready to welcome him? In this episode, Jesus shares with us a parable about a bridegroom and ten bridesmaids who are waiting to welcome him. The story carries a warning. Five of the bridesmaids have been wise and have brought extra oil to keep their lamps burning through the night. The other five have been foolish and end up being locked out of the wedding feast. This parable carries a loving invitation from Jesus, to always live with expectation in our hearts that one day we will meet him face to face. The best way to make sure our hearts are ready is to meet Jesus in prayer. We do that together and then lift up our voices in song.
