How can we be ready to welcome Jesus? In the Gospel, Jesus shares a parable about ten bridesmaids waiting. They have oil lamps, but only five bring enough oil to last the night. The bridesmaids are all waiting for a bridegroom, but when he arrives only five are ready. This parable helps us to think about how we can be ready to meet Jesus.
